Ryze, Frites and Momo

This weekend was a long weekend in celebration of the Mid-Autumn Festival.  The girls enjoyed time with their friends and cousins at Ryze, followed by lunch at Frites and then visited Lisa yee-yee's new cat, Momo.

Painting the play room

What happens when you leave a two year old and a three year old in the playroom alone with bottles of paint in an unlocked drawer.  Free art :)

Natalie's allergy tests

Today, Natalie saw the allergist and had 18 skin prick tests done. It turns out she is highly allergic to dust mites. The doctor says this may impact the quality of her skin (for example, ezcema, which explains alot!) and suggested she begin allergy therapy via either oral drops or injections over the next 3 years. We're doing some research now, but likely will go for drops which is Natalie's choice.

Experiencing the Garden Sisisic Trialthon

The girls and I drove way out to the new territories to cheer on the triathletes of the Garden Sisisic 2015 Triathlon.  It was an interesting experience for the girls, although meltingly hot.  We cooled off by pouring water over our heads.  Afterward, we took a minibus to enjoy Vietnamese noodles at a mall nearby and then headed home to the air conditioner.

Lauren's photo shoot for cook book

Today, Lauren participated in a photo shoot with our friend Derek Kwik for his new soon-to-be-released cook book.  Lauren did really well and enjoyed the shoot.  Most especially, she enjoyed playing with Tommy the Salami the dog. Looking forward to the book!  Here are some behind-the-scenes photos.

I turned around in the taxi and saw this: Natalie holding Ashley's hand.

Lauren can swim by herself without aids

Somehow, Lauren has learned how to swim on her own!  It's pretty amazing that she took off her life jacket and just started to swim by herself.  Needless to say, we're proud parents!

See Lauren in action in Video 796  and Video 797.

Gymnastic and Trampoline Classes at YWCA

Since parking has been revoked at soccer, we've decided to move the girls to a new activity they can all do together -- Gymnastics class followed by Trampoline class.  A big bonus is that Scarlett can join too so we can see our friend regularly again!  Ashley and Scarlett are so cute together.  Another bonus is it's close to the Hong Kong Botanical and Zoological Park which means easy access to see the monkeys and other animals there after classes.

Hanging Around - MTR rides, Enopi, dogs, blue blanket, splits, shopping and more

It's nice to capture the "regular" moments of life with the girls.  Here are some.

Video 791 - The girls just doing their regular thing at home. I like capturing these normal moments.

Riding on the MTR.  The girls prefer to stand and enjoyed the risk of falling with each stop and go.

Lauren enjoying Enopi (now called Eye Level).

Since taking up gymnastics, the girls enjoy practicing at home.  Lauren is naturally very flexible.

Cuddle time!

All the girls love dogs.  Will probably need to get one once the girls are big enough to help take care of the dog.

Ashley still loves her blue blanket.  We've cut it into two pieces so we can wash them.

The girls were a bit crazy while shopping for new school shoes at the Dr. Kong in Chifu.

Look what Ba-ba creatively made with a cardboard box and some string.  They girls loved it.

Cheeky Ashley.

iPad fun.
