Lauren turned sweet six and we had a little cake (selected by her via Maxim's website) for her at home with family. When asked whether she prefers a party or a present, she said: "Present" and when asked what present she would like she said, "Can I have an iPad?" :) We said not until she's 8 years old, and she requested something more appropriate and perfect -- a Kindle.

d to FB: I would be remiss if I didn't also post a quick snap of Lauren on her 6th birthday a couple weeks ago. She ordered the cake online with me and we enjoyed it as a family two days earlier than her actual day because I had to travel. For her birthday, Lauren received a Kindle (on request) from the four adults in her life, a necklace from Natalie, and a drawing from Ashley. I love you, Lauren!
