On January 6th, for the first time ever, we celebrated Epiphany Day with a Galette des Rois, or a King's Cake, which may (depending on which part of France you're from) consist of layers of light pastry and frangipane in the middle. Thanks for the cake, LoLo! The fun part is there is little porcelain baby hidden inside and whoever gets the "baby" gets to be king or queen and wear the golden crown. Ba-ba... er, I mean, Ashley (through minor adult intervention) got the baby. How fun!
Video 244 - Ashley wanted a video of us playing (she's wearing the crown) but when she realized the video required one of my hands, she didn't want a video any more :)
Video 245 - Lauren chats with me while wearing the crown about what she's eating and smiling for the camera.
The day before, Lauren for no apparent reason decided to make a crown for herself. She cut and colored it by herself and I helped her to tape it together.
The baby has been found!
